It's not just our love of sports and sporting cars that brings members together, but our Club events as well. Our events bring members from all over the region, and beyond, together to celebrate our mutual interests and comradrie.
We hold local social gatherings regularly, including coffee meets, dinners and of course, club runs (road trips).
A monthly club runs takes place on the second Thursday of each month with a monthly day run takes place most weekends for our members, and their cars, all around the region. Our runs simply aren't a single drive, but incorporate a morning tea, lunch, or both, before returning home.
As the Central West is a perfectly centralised regional area, we have a multitude of destinations available to us. Each destination offers its own unique attractions which we incorporate into each run. We have delegated event organiser for these events.
Generally
held over five to seven days around the end of October/early November every
year, this is our largest run of the year and is attended by members from all
over our membership base. These tours are to various parts of NSW or may be
interstate.
Occasionally, an extra tour is organised with travel spread over seven to ten
days. Some of the trips have been to places like the Great Ocean Road and
Tasmania.
More than fifteen cars are normally in attendance, along with their enthusiastic owners and supporters.
We
currently have three committee meetings every quarter (3 monthly). These
meetings alternate between Orange and Bathurst. Any member is welcome to
attend.
Our annual general meeting is held in Orange in January each year. Here we elect our new Committee Members for the following year, followed by a lunch at that year's chosen venue.
